Learn more about us!
Established in 1997, we are Regina's only locally owned and operated all-ages Irish Dance School with resident instructors attending every lesson.
With students ranging from 3 to 75 years of age, we have something to offer all dance enthusiasts. Extremely qualified and certified teachers focus on developing technique and precision in dance while fostering a fun environment. Our instructors help cultivate our dancers' confidence through helping them set and achieve their goals. Prairie Gael is proud to belong to Regina's Irish community and enjoys giving back through community events and performances at senior's residences.
Your first class with us is free - come try it out!
We're located at 1602 B McDonald St!
Our competitive classes are led by Regina's only resident certified Irish dancing instructor, Caitlin Preston.
We offer classes that teach both solo and figure or céilí dances. A beginning dancer can expect to start out in soft shoes and once the first few dances have been mastered, hard shoe dances are then added to the repertoire of dances. A dancer will also begin working on specialized class choreographed pieces in preparation for our Recital.
Performances are optional for students in the school, but are strongly encouraged, as this gives the young dancer a goal to work towards. We are always in demand for performances at local senior citizens' homes, community events, and Irish Club of Regina functions including Mosaic, Regina's annual multicultural festival.
Our dance year runs concurrent to the school year; beginning in September and finishing at the beginning of June. No fundraising required! Our school's major year end event is our Annual Recital. Our Annual Recital is held in May and is a wonderful, exclusive opportunity for our dancers to show off the results of their hard work throughout the year.
We offer classes at multiple levels, curriculum will vary depending on the skill of the dancer and how long the dancer has been dancing. We group our dancers by skill level and tailor our instruction to suit the individual dancers.

We are proud to offer yoga classes to our dancers and their families. Taught by our very own Ms. Emily, these classes are invigorating and provide our dancers the opportunity to increase their skill level by developing their flexibility, mobility, and strength.
Our annual schedule of classes is posted here.
