School Policies

All dancers must abide by the following dress code:

Hair Pulled Back
T-Shirt & Athletic Shorts
White Socks (poodle socks are preferred - NO BARE FEET)
Absolutely NO JEWELERY!
CORRECT dancing footwear (HARD and SOFT shoes, when needed)

Students who are continually dressed inappropriately may be asked to refrain from dancing during the class. NO refunds will be made in this situation. This may be an issue of safety as well as correct technique.
All dancers must have a water bottle for class use.
No outdoors shoes are allowed in the studio
Attendance will be taken at class to help in determining order of preference for upcoming performances. We will attempt to be fair at all times.
Any dancer who acts in an unruly or unsafe manner may be asked to leave the class. If said dancer is unable to return to class, no refunds will be made.
Parents are expected to pick their child up from the studio on time. No liability will be held by the studio or instructors for children not picked up promptly after class unless clear communication and agreements have been made in advance.
Parents are not allowed in the studio unless invited in at the end of a class. This causes too much confusion among dancers and causes a traffic jam around the door.
Please use our email, phone and communications book in the studio to ask questions of Bernie or David. We simply do not have time between classes to answer questions and discuss things. We will always respond promptly to emails and phone calls! Checking the website often will also help keep you up to date!
Hair and Costumes must be done BEFORE a performance, as we are never guaranteed much change room space.
Newsletters will only be given out in important situations. We will attempt to post all of our information in the studio, through emails and on the website. Please keep up to date!

Lessons that are cancelled by the teachers will be made up at some point during the school year.
Lessons that are missed by the student will not be made up under any circumstances.
Dance fees are non-refundable for each term once that term has begun. The starting dates for each term are September 1^st, November 1^st, February 1^st and April 1^st.
Dance lessons cancelled before the start of a term or terms will be refunded at the written request of the dancer / parent.
All cheques returned NSF will be subject to a $20 fee and dance lessons may be suspended until the fees are paid in full.
