The Mid-Winter Celtic Festival is coming back the weekend of February 10th, 2018, and we have both FRED MORRISON and TROY MACGILLIVRAY coming to teach and perform!

Fred will be teaching two worksops on Saturday the 10th, exploring music for Highland pipes, Scottish smallpipes & reelpipes, uilleann pipes and also whistle! Last year Fred’s workshops were fantastic for all ages and abilities, and it was just a superb day of music.

Troy is teaching a piano/fiddle workshop on Saturday afternoon of the 10th, and like Fred, Troy is a gifted teacher who is able to reach students of all ages and levels of experience with his traditional East Coast tunes!

To complete the day, both Troy and Fred will be joining the City of Regina Pipe Band for performances at the Mid-Winter Ceilidh. Last year was a complete sell out and  if you want to attend, you’ll have to book early!

We have workshop and concert packages available on the website (great last-minute gift!), and we also have rooms available at the Regina Travelodge South at a special MWCF rate for people travelling from outside Regina.
